Kitchen Expansion In Temecula

This upscale kitchen remodel took place in the Spring of 2017.  Our clients had just purchased this stunning 4,000 square foot home in Temecula and wanted to renovate their kitchen before they moved in.  After a handful of meetings with our team and several interviews with other contractors, they selected Classic Home Improvements for their kitchen renovation and expansion.

The original kitchen was approximately 12×12 and it is now approximately 20×20 so the space they gained was quite substantial.  The original kitchen area had vaulted ceilings which the homeowners wanted to keep. However, if they had kept the vaulted ceilings the inside of the home would have been choppy between vaulted and non-vaulted ceilings.  To advise the homeowners of their options, we provided a handful of various designs for them to select from.

One of the most significant changes in design was the removal of a large river rock fireplace that was located in the adjacent family room.  We removed the fireplace and installed a 10 foot wide, 8 foot tall multi-sliding door which maximized our client’s view of the Temecula Valley and their stunning pool.  They love to spend time outdoors so we also extended their quartz countertop to the outside so they would have a bar seating area outside.  The bifold window at the kitchen sink was installed into the countertop so food can be passed to guests outside.

Additional Features

The kitchen expansion allowed for us to add a giant eating bar so our clients now have a ton of area for entertaining.  All new appliances were installed including a Wolf range, hood, and microwave.  Additionally they installed an ice maker and a steam oven, as well as their new microwave and Sub Zero refrigerator.

The kitchen renovation features MSI Calcatta Vicenza quartz countertops on the perimeter cabinets with Cambria Summerhill quartz on the kitchen island.  Starmark Maple Bridgeport cabinets tinted white were installed with flat front doors in the perimeter of the kitchen.  The island features Starmark Maple Bridgeport cabinets in a Slate finish, which matches the bar area.
